Help topics
Answers below are drafted for the shop to verify. Anything in square brackets is a placeholder for the owner to fill in with the correct figures.
Start the car, open Bluetooth on the player and remove any old entry for your phone. On the phone, forget the car as well, then pair again from the player side rather than the phone. If the phone still does not appear in the list, the player may be holding an earlier connection — powering both off and on again usually clears it.
With the engine running, select reverse and watch the screen. If the guidelines appear but the picture stays black, the fault sits in the camera feed rather than the screen. If nothing changes at all, the trigger wire is the first thing to check. Both need testing on the car, so bring it in.
Hold the reset or power button until the unit restarts. If it comes back but slows down again over a day or two, storage is usually the cause — removing apps you do not use frees it up. A screen that stays dark after a restart needs to be looked at on the car.
On most Android units it is Settings, then System, then Reset. A reset clears accounts, installed apps and saved radio stations, so note anything you need beforehand. Steering-wheel controls and the reversing camera normally need setting up again afterwards. [ verify: menu path on the units you stock ]
Use the fader and balance to send sound to that corner on its own. If it stays silent at every setting, the speaker or its wiring is the cause rather than the player. If it crackles instead of going silent, stop running it at volume and bring the car in.
A head unit or Android player is normally a half day. Speakers and amplifiers depend on how the wiring has to be routed. Full system builds are quoted with a time on the day, once we have seen the car. [ verify: typical durations per job ]
Booking ahead is better, particularly for anything past a straight head-unit swap. Walk-ins are taken when there is a bay free, though you may be waiting. Call the shop and we will tell you what the day looks like.
Bring the vehicle, the key, and your invoice if the visit is warranty work. If the car has an alarm, immobiliser or aftermarket wiring already fitted, tell us before we start. Anything you bought elsewhere is welcome, but we will look at it first before agreeing to fit it.
Yes. Leave a number we can reach you on, and we will call before doing anything that was not agreed. Cars left overnight are kept [ verify: where vehicles are held outside opening hours ].
Leave them up for [ verify: curing period, e.g. three to five days ]. The film needs that time to bond, and rolling a window down early can lift the edge. A little haze or a few small water pockets in the first week are normal and clear as it dries.
Use a soft cloth and a cleaner without ammonia — ammonia breaks the film down over time. Wait until the film has fully cured before the first clean. Avoid scrapers and abrasive pads on the inside of the glass.
Limits are set by regulation and differ for the windscreen, front sides and rear glass. We fit to the current limit and will tell you what that means for your vehicle before starting. [ verify: current permitted VLT percentages in Sri Lanka ]
Workmanship on anything we installed, and the wiring, connections and mounting we supplied. Products bought here carry the manufacturer's own warranty for their own period. Full terms are in the warranty section on this page.
Call the shop or bring the vehicle in with your invoice. Claims are assessed on the car, because most electrical faults cannot be diagnosed from a description alone. We will tell you what we find before any work starts.
Parts supplied by the customer or fitted somewhere else, damage from an accident or water getting in, and changes made to the installation after it left us. Consumables are also outside the warranty. [ verify: consumables list ]
It depends on the fault and whether a part has to come in. We will give you a timeframe once the car has been looked at, rather than before. [ verify: typical turnaround to quote here ]
Sign in and open your account, where each order shows its current status. If an order was placed over the phone or at the counter, call the shop with your invoice number. You can also raise a service request on this page and we will look it up.
Lead time depends on the plate type and current demand. We will give you a date when the order is taken. [ verify: typical lead time by plate type ]
Collect from the shop during opening hours. Bring the invoice, and the vehicle if the item is being fitted on the same visit. If someone else is collecting for you, let us know their name beforehand.

Assessment happens on the car. Once we have seen the fault we will give you a timeframe — repairs needing a part ordered in take longer. [ fill in — typical turnaround, and whether a loan period applies ]
The fitting date and product details are recorded at the time of installation, so we can look up your job without the paperwork if needed.

For electrical faults, walking in with the vehicle is usually the fastest route. Most of them cannot be diagnosed from a description, and having the car here means we can test it on the spot.
